Up early and feeling empty, needing more than coffee. So a look in the fridge stirs one of my earliest memories of breakfast at home.
3 rashers of bacon, done crisply, followed by the remains of a potato salad from last night. I’d tossed them in chives and lemon oil from Carluccio’s and the kitchen sizzled with lemon when they hit the pan.
Topped off with a fried egg and I’m ready to go.
OK maybe not the best looking plate you’ll see on here, but it was satisfying!!
