Manchester, a new panorama

I love the countryside and fell walking, as you know.  But I also like cities and I love Manchester, my home city.  This is a new pan, which captures a taste of the old and new next to each other. This is a square on the corner of Deansgate and John Dalton St.  Highly visible are some new builds poking themselves up above the more sedate, solid, red brick buildings that the Victorians built.

On the right is the huge Great Northern Goods Warehouse, a massive bonded warehouse that is now an entertainment centre.  The square is not huge but its an interesting amphitheatre style. mmm, more squares to follow I think?

As usual, click on it for a full size view.
