A Word a Week photograph Challenge Gap

At the start of the year, my nephew and I took his canal boat out.  On the canal it was bitterly cold; water pulls down the cold.  We battled on, taking turns to steer on the deck whilst the other  brewed up in the galley.

 

Nevertheless, it was a lovely day and we encountered various gaps along the way…

    • Thanks! The snow on the roof of the boat gives it away, I think. We also had to break some ice on the canal at one point.
