Wow, another toughie, I think.  This caused a lot of browsing (Damn! must get round to indexing my pics more fully).  In the end here’s my post for this one.

The first one is at Castle Howard in Yorkshire.  This statue is at the Temple of the Four Winds (Oh, how cool is that for a name?)

This next one is a natural carving.  Its on my local ‘mountain’ Kinder Scout in the Derbyshire Peak District. Its huge.  Check out Pete’s head at the base to compare sizes!

You’ll find this one in another post.  Its a statue from the Museo Egizio in Turin, well worth a visit.
